Yuki Toy

Yuki Toy is a figure drawing / artistic anatomy artist with a BFA in Printmaking and an MFA in Fine Art. Her work focuses on the medium of color pencil drawings on paper, wood, and canvas to create dreamlike landscapes where human beings and wild animals become one. The roadrunner, the desert bighorn, the coyote, and many other characters are used to represent the untouchable vitality that echoes throughout the dry, empty space. Her work is an imaginative take on her experiences in Death Valley, California.

Yuki is also currently working on a drawing instruction series called Artistic Anatomy Analyses, using historic icons’ portraits as reference
