Kalynn Campbell

Kalynn Campbell, a Los Angeles painter and illustrator, is one of the earlier artists in the 'Lowbrow/Pop Surrealism’ art movement. ‘ART? ALTERNATIVES’ magazine once called his  work “American Hieroglyphics.”

Campbell's work has been featured in over 6 Museum shows including the first major POP SURREALISM show.

Books and Magazines featuring his work are numerous, among the books are POP SURREALISM by Kristin Anderson, WEIRDO DELUXE by Mat Dukes Jordan and KUSTOM GRAPHICS 2.

Collectors include Actor Nicolas Cage, Rocker Eric Burden, Singer Pink and Simpson's voice man Harry Shearer.

His illustration work has been utilized by a virtual WHO'S WHO in Rock Music, from Epitaph records and Megadeth to Face To Face and Tom Petty. 

For many years he worked as an outsider cartoonist for Paul Krassner’s REALIST magazine.
