Sma Litzsinger

Sma Litzsinger is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Downtown Los Angeles. Her primary medium is embellished photographs, depicting a sacred space between history and fiction, fantasy and reality. These narratives draw inspiration from folklore, mythology, magic, and traditional decorative art practices, sourced from vast cultures across the globe.

Though her defined and distinctive style borrows from a well-honed anthropological knowledge, Sma’s drawings are a direct result of a finely curated, vivid, imaginary space, reflecting her own deeply personal metaphysical practice.

Sma has shared her work throughout the greater Los Angeles area, including exhibits at Copro Gallery, Ren Gallery, and the Bergamot Station Arts Center in Santa Monica.
